email  Hi...I was wondering if anyone has any resources for finding a nanny. I currently have a Filipino nanny who has been with me for three and a half years. Unfortunately she is moving so I need to find her replacement. I would ideally like another person from the Phillipines as I found them to be really great and nurturing with my kids. Thanks so much!

email  Glad to know that you have formed yourself as a solid group so that your members can still be reminded of the culture of the Filipinos and continue to inform your children of our country.

In the country, we are also trying to work out some projects that would hopefully "re-create" the Filipino family especially at our point in time of our history.

We are a small group who would rather start with our young generation, the pre-school kids, and in a way, have a direct link with their parents. We are starting with a pre-school laboratory, and have supportive programs for the training of parents (couple) and the "yaya" or caregiver in the developmental needs of children and parenting skills and other training needs of the caregiver. Would you help us in some little ways to make our project possible? With best wishes from the Philippines. Thank you

email  Hi all! I was wondering if anyone out there can help my husband and me find a nanny for our baby girl who will be born in September. I'm from Buffalo, where I had the support of a lot of Filipinos in the community, but we just moved here about two years ago. Both my husband and I are in medicine, and really want a Filipino Tita to be our nanny and become a part of our family. Salary is negotiable as are hours. Hopefully someone out there might be able to provide a contact/interest. If so, please respond! Thanks-Aimee Maceda

email  homepage Hello.

I was looking through your events and I was wondering which room your meeting with LSU will be held in? Also, the "End-of-the-Year" picnic will start and end at what time? Me and my sisters would like to get to know you and the organization and possibly plan an event in conjuction with one another. Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
